I’m Emani, author and avid reader. Thanks for stopping by!

I started Brown Suga Babe as a teen as a way to give my family a place to read my work. It has since blossomed into a home for little musings and morsels that don’t quite fit anywhere else.

I received my B.A. in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from Howard University. Postgrad, I attended Columbia University to achieve my M.F.A in Fiction Writing.
